Cornerstone is located in Orange County, CA. Our programs are in beautiful homes in upscale neighborhoods in Tustin, Orange and Santa Ana. Our outpatient and family program center is in Santa Ana.
We treat individuals 18 and older who have chemical dependency as their primary issue.
Yes. Cornerstone is recognized by the Courts and Probation program. We have a well-respected and successful monitored alternative sentencing program. We have both residential and monitored outpatient treatment. The level of your program will depend on the court’s recommendations. We have a court representative to work with you. Yes, we do have sober living homes. However, these homes are primarily for individuals who are also attending our treatment programs. If you are interested in our sober living homes, we encourage you to participate in our day treatment or outpatient programs. When entering a rehab program, you will be allowed to bring several essential items with you. Rehab centers typically provide a list of approved items that clients can bring, as well as a list of prohibited items.
Electronics and Cell Phones:
We have “tech time” during which you are allowed to use your phone. We strongly encourage full participation in the program and discourage isolation, which can be a result of excessive use of tech and social media platforms.
Commonly Banned Items:
- Any items containing alcohol as an ingredient
- Opened vitamins or supplements
- Candles
- Food or drink
- Weapons
Important Things to Remember to Bring:
- Appropriate clothing
- Identification (IDs)
- Medications in the original packaging
- Unopened toiletries

After completing your treatment, you gain access to our comprehensive Alumni Program, designed to support your continued recovery and well-being. The program includes:
- Continued Aftercare: You can attend aftercare sessions twice a week for as long as needed to support your ongoing recovery.
- Alumni App: Stay connected with fellow alumni and engage with our Mobile Alumni App, which fosters a supportive network and easy communication.
- Family Support: Your family members are welcome to participate in our Family Program, which includes:
- Family Support Group: Held on Tuesday nights via Zoom, this group offers a safe environment for family members to learn how to support their loved ones in recovery, led by experienced facilitators.
- Family Connection Program: Held on Thursday nights in-person, this program includes education on mental health and substance use disorders, followed by a process group with your loved one.
Our commitment to supporting families and individuals extends beyond treatment, providing ongoing resources and guidance to navigate recovery with resilience and hope.
Yes, your family can visit you after a release of information is obtained and you are actively participating in the Family Programs. They must be a safe, sober, and supportive presence for you. Visits are permitted on weekends during designated visiting hours. Please note that visiting and invitations are at the discretion of both the client and the case manager.
Yes, Cornerstone offers gender-specific treatment. We understand that gender influences addiction and recovery, so our approach includes:

Insurance and Payment Information
Yes, we accept health insurance. We have contracts with many managed care companies and will work with any insurance provider to ensure your necessary services are covered. Please note that you may have a co-pay or deductible that needs to be met. Remember to bring your insurance card with you. Yes, you can pay with either cash or a credit card for our services at Cornerstone of Southern California. If you have any questions about payment options, please feel free to contact our team.
